So if you haven’t figured it out yet, the majority of this old mill’s content resides in the how-to section.  If you haven’t found it, it’s located in the main menu portion of this website.  It’s a work in progress, but I continue to tweak or add things often.  My actual work on this old mill lags where I actually am on this project – but nonetheless I’ll get it all documented.  I hope my efforts are actually helping someone.

Regardless, I can say the how-to section related to powering this old mill is pretty much done.  There may be small additions, but all the information is there to do what I’ve done.  I hope you find the details I’ve included on using a variable frequency drive (VFD) instead of a phase converter clear and convincing enough to try it yourself if you’re on the fence about which way to go.

I continue to develop and document the how-to section on how to connect this old mill to a PC.  Figuring out how to connect this old mill to newer technology and CAM software has been the most rewarding part of this endeavor.
